FAQ

FAQ

Q: How do I join?
A:
We always welcome new students. Just send us an e-mail or give us a call. You will find our dojo a very welcoming and friendly place. You can get in touch with us using the details on our contact page.

Q: What if I just want to try it out?
A:
No problem. You are welcome to come to 2 classes, free of charge, and see if it is a good fit for you.

Q: Will I get hurt?
A:
No. You’ll be eased into the training gently and you’ll never be asked to do anything you’re not comfortable with. Safety always comes first.

Q: What equipment do I need?
A:
In the beginning all you’ll need is a pair of workout pants and a t-shirt or sweat shirt. If you decide you like it and you plan to train regularly, you should get a training uniform and eventually some training tools (hanbo, wooden sword, etc.).

Q: Is the instructor a current, hombu-licensed shidoshi?
A:
Yes.
